The Board of Trustees of the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens announces it has appointed Kimberly “Kim” Noble, MBA, CFM to be the museum’s new George W. and Kathleen I. Gibbs Director and Chief Executive Officer. Noble has been serving as the Cummer Museum’s interim director and CEO since May 2025. She was officially appointed to the position by the board after an analysis of her successful performance leading the museum as interim.
The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is honored to announce the gift of 18 works of art from the estate of longtime museum supporters and community philanthropists Helen M. and Edward W. Lane, Jr. The works will be on display in a dedicated installation from August 15, 2025 – January 11, 2026 before being incorporated into other collection galleries, enhancing the museum’s renowned collection of more than 5,000 objects from ancient Egypt through the present day.
