Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens Appoints New Chief Development Officer, Doolittle Family Director of Gardens & Horticulture and Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole Associate Curator

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens announced today the appointment of three new members to its staff: Amy Pierce as Chief Development Officer, Mary Mantey as the Doolittle Family Director of Gardens & Horticulture, and Brianna Sharpe as the Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole Associate Curator, a position named in honor of the Jacksonville native and internationally renowned educator, scholar and transformational leader.

Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens Receives Highest National Recognition Awarded Re-Accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens has again achieved accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums, the highest national recognition afforded to the nation’s museums. Accreditation signifies excellence to the museum community, to governments, funders, outside agencies and to the museum-going public. The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens has been accredited since 1975.

Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens Presents: Spirit in the Land

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens presents Spirit in the Land, an exhibition of 30 contemporary artists exploring humanity’s connection to nature and how cultural diversity and biodiversity are both essential to our survival. Spirit in the Land is on view from November 9, 2024 until February 9, 2025.
