  1. June 8 to June 12 | Summer Camp Week 1: Line, Shape, and Color

    Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in our summer camp. Young artists will observe and explore artwork in the galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and show-off their artwork in an open house each week.

    This week explore the basic elements of art by investigating the use of line, shape, and color. Campers will combine their own marks and colors to create unique works of art.

  2. June 15 to June 19 | Summer Camp Week 2: Rhythm, Pattern, and Balance

    Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in our summer camp. Young artists will observe and explore artwork in the galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and show-off their artwork in an open house each week.

    This week discover how artists include rhythm, pattern and balance in their masterpieces. Campers will learn how to infuse these principles of art to enhance their own artwork.

  4. July 6 to July 10 | Summer Camp Week 4: Artful Animals

    Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in our summer camp. Young artists will observe and explore artwork in the galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and show-off their artwork in an open house each week.

    This week animals are on the loose in the Museum. Search the galleries and gardens for snakes, butterflies, cats, and other creatures. Explore the hidden meaning of animals in artwork, and create your own animal-inspired art.

  5. July 13 to July 17 | Summer Camp Week 5: Sculpt It

    Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in our summer camp. Young artists will observe and explore artwork in the galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and show-off their artwork in an open house each week.

    This week create three-dimensional artwork using a variety of different sculpting techniques and materials such as clay, wood, and cardboard. Campers will explore artwork in the Museum’s permanent galleries and gardens, as well as Buddha and Shiva, Lotus and Dragon.

  6. July 20 to July 24 | Summer Camp Week 6: Art Around the World

    Does your child love to paint, sculpt, draw, print, and more? Cultivate their creative abilities in our summer camp. Young artists will observe and explore artwork in the galleries and gardens, experiment with different art media in the studio, and create and show-off their artwork in an open house each week.

    This week from Egyptian sarcophagi to Meissen porcelain, explore cultures from around the world and create your own art inspired by the Cummer Collection and Buddha and Shiva, Lotus and Dragon.

  7. July 27 to July 31 | Middle School Camp 2020: Printmaking and Mixed Media

    Experiment with a variety of printmaking methods and mixed media collage while being inspired by masterworks in the Museum’s galleries and gardens. The week will culminate with a student curated exhibition.
