Beginning March 9, 2026, the hours of operation for the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens will be as follows:

Monday: CLOSED | Tuesday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Wednesday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Thursday: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. | Friday: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. | Sunday: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The Museum’s evening hours will change from Tuesdays to Thursdays.

General Admission

The Cummer Museum is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and exceptional experience for every visitor and staff member. The principles of diversity, equity, access, and inclusion apply to all aspects of the Museum’s operations. The Museum does not tolerate verbal or physical harassment, discriminatory or threatening behavior, or any interference with the experience of others. The Museum reserves the right to revoke the admission and/or membership of any person acting in an unacceptable or inappropriate manner, including but not limited to:

  • Abusive or intimidating language or behavior, including unwelcome sexual comments and/or physical advances
  • Failure to follow the instructions of Museum staff
  • Photographing and/or filming staff members or visitors in a manner that the staff determines is disruptive.

The Gardens close when the Museum closes or at dusk (whichever is sooner) and during inclement weather. Operating hours for the Cummer Café vary. The Cummer Shop is open during Museum hours and always available online. The Museum is closed on Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.

We are committed to making sure that every visitor has an exceptional experience. For this reason, we reserve the right to limit capacity.

  • First Saturday of each month, except for ticketed events, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • First full weekend of each month for Bank of America and Merrill Lynch cardholders, provided by Museums on Us.
  • Third Tuesday of each month, except for ticketed events, 4 to 8 p.m. Starting March 9, our evening hours will change from Tuesdays to Thursdays. Free Third Tuesdays will become Free Third Thursdays!
  • Every day for SNAP EBT & WIC cardholders, provided by Museums For All.
  • Tuesday through Friday for college students with a valid student I.D.
  • Children, ages 5 and under.

Memorial Day through Labor Day via Blue Star Museums: free admission for active-duty military personnel and their families thanks to the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, and the Department of Defense. ID must be presented to redeem.

Affinity Groups

The Cummer Museum’s Affinity Groups offer members unique opportunities to become more involved in the Museum by exploring their own passions. Each Affinity Group organizes programs and special events, which support the mission of the Cummer Museum. Cummer Nassau and Cummer Beaches are an add-on to your basic membership.
