  1. September 21 | Art Adventures: Abstraction

    Members $10, Non-Members $15 | Registration required
    Ages 6 through 12

    Join us on the third Saturday of each month for studio classes. In this class students will explore abstract works of art in the permanent collection and discuss emphasis, movement, and variety. In the studio they will incorporate these principles of design into the creation of their own abstract artworks. Class size is limited.     In this six-week class, young children ages 3 to 5, with their favorite adult, will explore art and the Museum through play-filled activities and art projects. Each class includes a gallery or garden visit, art making, and sensory explorations.

  5. October 12 | Coding Art: Modern Art with Modern Tech

    Coding isn’t just for creating computer applications. In this six-week class for ages 9 through 12, students will learn to use basic editing and coding tools to design and create two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork using a 3D printer. Students will visit the galleries in search of artwork to inspire their creations.
