Ritz Chamber Players: Juneteenth Voices of Freedom Concert & Conversation

The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens is honored to welcome the Ritz Chamber Players for “Voices of Freedom”, a dynamic Juneteenth celebration! This inspiring event pays tribute to Juneteenth, Black Music Month, Pride, and the birthday of Jacksonville’s own James Weldon Johnson.
Experience an uplifting fusion of music, heritage, and hope as world-class musicians bring to life the transformative power of chamber music. This concert, part of the Ritz Chamber Players’ “Juneteenth: Celebrate Freedom” series, commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans and celebrates the enduring spirit of freedom, resilience, and Black artistry.
