Discover something new at the Museum each month through art, gardens, and hands-on creativity. Designed for children in grades K through 5 and their caregivers, Creative Kids invites participants to explore the galleries or gardens, engage with works of art and the natural world, and create a studio project inspired by the day’s theme. Each session offers a fresh opportunity to look closely, imagine, and make together.
Smooth, rough, soft, or bumpy; texture helps make art come alive. Children will search for textures in the Museum galleries and gardens, then will head to the studio to create artworks rich in texture.
