Discover something new at the Museum each month through art, gardens, and hands-on creativity. Designed for children in grades K through 5 and their caregivers, Creative Kids invites participants to explore the galleries or gardens, engage with works of art and the natural world, and create a studio project inspired by the day’s theme. Each session offers a fresh opportunity to look closely, imagine, and make together.
Inspired by Beyond the Frame
From simple shapes to three-dimensional forms, artists use these building blocks to create everything we see. Young artists will investigate shapes in art and nature, then will go to the studio for an artmaking activity.
