Creative Kids: Line – Paths, Patterns, and Movement

Discover something new at the Museum each month through art, gardens, and hands-on creativity. Designed for children in grades K through 5 and their caregivers, Creative Kids invites participants to explore the galleries or gardens, engage with works of art and the natural world, and create a studio project inspired by the day’s theme. Each session offers a fresh opportunity to look closely, imagine, and make together.

Inspired by A State of Expression

Children will discover how artists use lines to guide our eyes, create movement, and tell stories. Children will explore galleries and find lines all around them, then go to the studio for an artmaking activity.
