Some works of art are too exceptional to be put into storage. While the Cummer Museum’s Galleries are undergoing renovation, enjoy this selection of 19th- and early 20th-century works in a special presentation. This temporary exhibition has been installed in the Museum’s largest and most well-lit gallery, allowing viewers to see more detail in each piece. These paintings, sculptures, and works on paper have been selected as inspirations for diverse initiatives, including the Museum’s contribution to the global Outings project and The Chef’s Canvas, a new cookbook with original dishes created by Jacksonville-area chefs.
