  1. 2:15 to 3:15 P.M. | Get Your Learn On: Highlights Tour

    Embark on a journey through time as you explore works of art that span from ancient cultures through today. Tours leave from the Museum lobby and explore highlights and favorites from the Museum’s collection.

  2. 5 to 7 P.M. | Make & Take Tuesday - Etching

    Etching is a printmaking technique in which an image is created by cutting lines into a surface which is then inked and pressed onto paper to create a print. Inspired by the works of James McBey, participants will learn how to use tools and techniques to design, create, and print their own etching.

  3. 7 to 8 P.M. | Films and Posters: The Norman Studios Story

    Join Barbara Wingo, vice president of the Norman Studios board, to explore the fascinating history of Norman Studios located in the Arlington area. In its heyday, Norman Studios created six full length feature films featuring all black casts in roles such as cowboys, pilots, and businessmen. After the talk, take in the original Norman Studios movie posters on view at the Museum.
