Hear from guest curator, Susan Gallo, as she discusses the Museum’s collection of Eugène-Louis Charvot works. The Eugène-Louis Charvot exhibition focuses on his breadth of processes, productivity and inspiration in painting, etching and drawing. With a focus on family portraits, pastoral country scenes, nocturnes and North African genre and street scenes, the exhibition’s intimate setting weaves family photographs, journal entries and excerpts from family letters to recreate the worldview that informed Charvot’s oeuvre.
