In 1936, American artist Rockwell Kent (1882-1971) completed a limited edition series of illustrations for “The Complete Works of Shakespeare.” This portfolio recently was gifted to the Cummer Museum by Cheryl S. Cummer and, after conservation, is ready for its debut presentation. Shown in conjunction with the 400th Anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, the exhibition celebrates the legacies of two leading figures in their respective fields.
